We went to Meijer Gardens to check out the Jaume Plensa sculptures, very cool....

hmmm. that sky looks awful blue - are you sure you had your wb set appropriately? (this is actually an inside joke, that you may or may not remember) but seriously - nice shots!
I went there a lot this year as well. Now what is truly fascinating is taking the Plensa tour in Spanish. There is a Puerto Rican tour guide who gives the tours every other Tuesday... and it's beautiful to hear her appreciation for the artist in his native tongue.
